CFP: Kitan Studies Symposium, Deadline: 1/10/22

*Call for Papers: *The Kitan Studies Symposium (online) 2023

Hosted by Waseda University and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

After the success of the Kitan symposium online 2022 hosted by the
University of Aberdeen, the second symposium will be jointly hosted by
Waseda University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. It will take
place on Friday*, January** 13th, 2023 *on Zoom. The symposium aims to
bring together scholars working on Kitan and/or Liao-related topics from
across the world and disciplines.

Interested scholars are invited to submit proposals for paper
presentations. Please send abstracts of no more than 300 words in English
and a short bio to kitannetwork2023@gmail.com kitannetwork2023@gmail.com
by October 1st, 2022.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by November 1st, 2022.

If you are not interested in presenting a paper but are interested in
receiving more information about the symposium and Kitan-related issues,
namely if you want to join the Kitan network, please send an email with the
