LUO. Below please find Chenxi's self-introduction. Welcome to our community!

Chenxi Luo is a History Ph.D. candidate from Washington University in St.
Louis. She specializes in slavery, ethnicity, and law in imperial China.
She is now writing her dissertation titled "Bondage in the Age of Mobility:
Booi Slavery, Migration, and Law in Early Qing China." Though trained in
late imperial Chinese history, Chenxi has developed her interests in the
history of Jurchens, Khitans, and Mongols in medieval China as well. In
particular, she is interested in exploring the continuation (or the change)
from Jurchens in medieval China to Manchus in Qing China.
