Dear colleagues and friends, I’m happy to share that my new book, A Space of the Mind: The Literati Studio in Song Dynasty Literary Culture, has just been published by Cornell University Press. The book explores the emergence of the literati studio in Song China and its role in literary production, self-cultivation, social interaction, and the fashioning of literati identity. I hope it may be of interest to many members of this community. The paperback, hardcover, and eBook are now all available through both the Cornell University Press website (https://cornellpress.cornell.edu/book/9781501789236/a-space-of-the-mind/#bookTabs=1) and Amazon (https://a.co/d/00WBGHJh). If you would like to purchase it from the Cornell UP website, you may use the 30% discount code [09BCARD]. Many thanks, and I hope everyone is having a good start to the semester!
