Dear Members of the Society for Song, Yuan, and Conquest Dynasties Studies, We would like to announce that this year’s election for three new members of the Board for the SSYCDS is officially open. We thank those of you who nominated candidates for these positions. As we did with the previous elections, we use Election Runner. If you are currently an active member of the society, you probably have already received a prompt from Election Runner asking you to participate in the vote. The website will be open for two weeks, from June 6 through June 20, 5 pm PST. We are very grateful to the five candidates who have agreed to stand for election to those positions. You will also have the option to write in a candidate of your choice, but please keep in mind that only members in good standing are eligible for a seat on the board of directors. Brief descriptions of the candidates will appear on the ballot website. If you have renewed your membership very recently and did not receive the email from Election Runner, please contact me.
